1.1 The subject matter and chat are geared toward those over eighteen (16) years old -- Channel Operators are advised to protect those who are under-age from matters that are not legal or proper for them.
1.2 No advertising.
1.3 No bots, other than those belonging in #ICQ-Malaysia
1.4 More then 3 nick clones are not allowed.
1.5 No text flooding or repeating.
1.6 No denigration is permitted of other peoples
1.7 No harassment
1.8 No vulgarity

What is a channel operator/moderator?

They are responsible for maintaining the modes of the channel, the banlist, and moderating any unwanted activity. IRC channel operators should not be confused with IRC operatorIRC operator. An IRC operator is a user on an Internet Relay Chat network who has privileged access. IRC operators are charged with the task of enforcing the network's rules, and in many cases, improving the network in various areas...., who enforce network, rather than channel rules.
Operating a channel can be all that, but consider operating a channel hard work, lots of hours, bad times and good times, that way you will not be to disappointed discovering life in a channel with an @.
Being a channel operator can be hard work, you will sometimes find you opping alone in channel, with many users needing help. Even though a persons problem can seem unimportant, or easy to you, it doesn't mean the user/visitor looks at it the same way. Therefore always try to see your answers and actions from the visitors view of point.
Whats the responsibility of a channel operator/moderator?

3.2 Maintain modes and topic in channel
3.3 Kick or ban individuals for transgressing channel
3.4 Making visitors welcome in the channel
3.5 Support and help people in the channel, that need help with channel related topics.
Rules & Regulations for ChanOps/Moderators

4.2 Offer to help the user if he/she needs assistance
4.3 Do not kick/ban users for personal reasons, Unless a rule has been broken by a user.
4.4 Do not give Operator (+o) status to any user.
4.5 Have FUN!
